The Taiwan contingent, compared to mainland China team, was outnumbered by 3 to 5. The battle between the two was as intense as ever, but still Soochow didn’t lose their momentum and won the championship!
The fifth edition of the Straits Youth Festival took place in Fuzhou,Fujian Province and ended on August 14th. In total 29 activities were held from March to December, encompassing activities in employment, entrepreneurship, culture, education, science and technology, public welfare and other fields. There were nearly 1,200 cross-strait youths who signed up to participate, of which more than 600 young people were Taiwanese.

Due to their excellent performance during the Taiwan competition, Taiwan's Soochow team was invited to represent Taiwan at the competition. Competing through the popular "League of Legend, LOL" game, young people from around the world learn from each other’s combat skills. Soochow University and Taitung University won the championship and third place, respectively.

Soochow’s gaming team not only actively participated in the various e-Sport events, but this year in June during COMPUTEX exhibition was also accepted B.FRiEND’s invitation to participate in an exchange competition with a live broadcast host. B.FRiEND also encouraged E-sport team students to participate in more competitions, wishing to cooperate within the e-Sport industry (electronic sport industry) to promote the industry better.
